Our Work
We design and craft a fun range of jewellery, fine art prints, greeting cards and more. Our work is inspired by our inner child, wild imagination, and love of nature.
A crowd favourite is our unique range of hand painted laser cut wooden jewellery, featuring cute critters, kiwiana and tasty treats. This range requires patience and a steady hand, each piece a wearable work of art.

Kelly the Kea in the Stratosphere
We needle felted a miniature woolen kea for Christchurch's Kea Aerospace. Kelly the kea was launched into the stratosphere from Mt Somers in Canterbury on a high-altitude balloon flight on October 15th, 2022. The flight reached an altitude of over 100,000 feet, which is over 30 kilometers. Kelly helped test Kea Aerospace's equipment and to celebrate this milestone.

Following the balloon flight, Kelly was auctioned off on
Trade Me. All proceeds from the auction went to the
Kea Conservation Trust. Kea are highly endangered due to factors such as predation and lead poisoning.

How lucky were we to be asked by our friends at @gelatolabnz to fill their wall with gelato themed artworks?! We LOVED this project from start to finish.
We designed and crafted these beauties with the help of Leo our laser cutter. They are made from bamboo, walnut, and poplar woods, and painted by hand using Resene and Dulux paints. They look fab together on the wall (even though one gelato may or may not be positioned an inch higher than it's supposed to be, shhh π).

Sometimes I like to make things really hard for myself by making the areas I need to paint extremely small! Here I'm painting the smaller manuka flower petals, which measure about half a millimeter. It's even harder to do while filming a video with your other hand π

Little Wolf Studio has been very quiet over the last month as we have been training towards the Christchurch Modern Jive Champs, which we competed in last weekend. Here's a snippet of our Big Moves category! For some context, this is not a coreographed routine, but what we call 'freestyle', where we have previously learnt the moves but pieced them together in the movement. Yesterday I printed my first linocut! I have done woodblocks a few times in the past, but lino was a new experience. I found it easier to cut, but harder to print! I was out of practice with printing so it took many practice runs before I produced anything half decent. I'm thinking of calling this one 'Winter Woolies'. What do you think? I haven't had any success finding nice fabric masks that actually fit me, so I found a tutorial online and adapted it to match a disposable mask that fits me well. How lucky were we to be asked by our friends at @gelatolabnz to fill their wall with gelato themed artworks?! We LOVED this project from start to finish.
We designed and crafted these beauties with the help of Leo our laser cutter. They are made from bamboo, walnut, and poplar woods, and painted by hand using Resene and Dulux paints. They look fab together on the wall (even though one gelato may or may not be positioned an inch higher than it's supposed to be, shhh π).

Sometimes I like to make things really hard for myself by making the areas I need to paint extremely small! Here I'm painting the smaller manuka flower petals, which measure about half a millimeter. It's even harder to do while filming a video with your other hand π

Little Wolf Studio has been very quiet over the last month as we have been training towards the Christchurch Modern Jive Champs, which we competed in last weekend. Yesterday I printed my first linocut! I have done woodblocks a few times in the past, but lino was a new experience. I found it easier to cut, but harder to print! I was out of practice with printing so it took many practice runs before I produced anything half decent. I'm thinking of calling this one 'Winter Woolies'. What do you think? I plan on printing it in black ink as well π°π¨οΈ

I haven't had any success finding nice fabric masks that actually fit me, so I found a tutorial online and adapted it to match a disposable mask that fits me well. How lucky were we to be asked by our friends at @gelatolabnz to fill their wall with gelato themed artworks?! We LOVED this project from start to finish.
We designed and crafted these beauties with the help of Leo our laser cutter. They are made from bamboo, walnut, and poplar woods, and painted by hand using Resene and Dulux paints. They look fab together on the wall (even though one gelato may or may not be positioned an inch higher than it's supposed to be, shhh π).

Sometimes I like to make things really hard for myself by making the areas I need to paint extremely small! Here I'm painting the smaller manuka flower petals, which measure about half a millimeter. It's even harder to do while filming a video with your other hand π

We have a huge Midwinter Christmas market on this Saturday at Wolfbrook Arena from 1pm-9pm. It's going to be an epic but long exhausting day. Seeing your lovely faces would make it that little bit easier π©· So come say hi, browse the amazing talented makers, eat tasty food and find entertainment for the kids π

Little Wolf Studio has been very quiet over the last month as we have been training towards the Christchurch Modern Jive Champs, which we competed in last weekend. Yesterday I printed my first linocut! I have done woodblocks a few times in the past, but lino was a new experience. I found it easier to cut, but harder to print! I was out of practice with printing so it took many practice runs before I produced anything half decent. I'm thinking of calling this one 'Winter Woolies'. What do you think? I plan on printing it in black ink as well π°π¨οΈ

I finally got around to making myself a face mask in the weekend. I haven't had any success finding nice fabric masks that actually fit me, so I found a tutorial online and adapted it to match a disposable mask that fits me well. How lucky were we to be asked by our friends at @gelatolabnz to fill their wall with gelato themed artworks?! We LOVED this project from start to finish.
We designed and crafted these beauties with the help of Leo our laser cutter. They are made from bamboo, walnut, and poplar woods, and painted by hand using Resene and Dulux paints. They look fab together on the wall (even though one gelato may or may not be positioned an inch higher than it's supposed to be, shhh π).

Sometimes I like to make things really hard for myself by making the areas I need to paint extremely small! Here I'm painting the smaller manuka flower petals, which measure about half a millimeter. It's even harder to do while filming a video with your other hand π

Little Wolf Studio has been very quiet over the last month as we have been training towards the Christchurch Modern Jive Champs, which we competed in last weekend. Here's a snippet of our Big Moves category! For some context, this is not a coreographed routine, but what we call 'freestyle', where we have previously learnt the moves but pieced them together in the movement. Yesterday I printed my first linocut! I have done woodblocks a few times in the past, but lino was a new experience. I found it easier to cut, but harder to print! I was out of practice with printing so it took many practice runs before I produced anything half decent. I'm thinking of calling this one 'Winter Woolies'. What do you think? This weekend I had the pleasure of looking after a big floof on wheels! She helped me fold my latest print run of greeting cards, pair them with envelopes, put them in protective sleeves and put stickers on them. I finally got around to making myself a face mask in the weekend. I haven't had any success finding nice fabric masks that actually fit me, so I found a tutorial online and adapted it to match a disposable mask that fits me well. But let's be honest, I mostly just wanted to share the adorable hedgehog with a toadstool umbrella on the fabric I used π¦πβ€οΈ

Today I put all my greeting cards into 100% home compostable protective sleeves. I also designed and printed "100% compostable" labels and stuck them on the backs. Even the stickers themselves are fully compostable π Every little bit counts π
